2023 camp Recaps

What an incredible weekend we had at Barrel Racing Bible Camp! Thirteen young ladies made it to Elgin, AZ, where we worked with Ms. Kati Jundt on some new and applicable skills for their Barrel horses. Plus, we took a deep dive into the book of Esther and learned skills to apply to our walk with Jesus.

This year marked our fifth CCMA camp since we started in 2017. The spirit of the Lord was all around us throughout the week, and we were awe-struck at how God showed up and showed off. The instructors, speakers, counselors, worship team(s), and cooks once again knocked it out of the ballpark.

We were incredibly blessed to have some great speakers come and share with us, along with 5-time PCRA World-Champion Bull Fighter Rob Smets, World-Champion Trick Roper Tommye Flenniken, Pat Parelli Instructor Juli Piovesan, and Power Over Preditors teacher, Brianna Skaarer and others. 

Our instructors gave top-notch instruction in each of our events. Each camper were able to show off all that they learned throughout the week on the final day of camp and perform their event in front of their parents and peers.

A big thank you goes out to all volunteers who took the time to participate in CCMA Rodeo Bible Camp this year! It is always great to watch God move through willing servants who humbly come together to serve Him. Thank you for offering your time and talent at this year’s camp! We look forward to seeing y’all next year!

CCMA wrapped up another camp at the Buzzard Roost Ranch in Young, AZ. The team of instructors that came to help each girl individually were top-notch teachers in the Cowgirl world, teaching the young ladies’ horsemanship, gathering cattle, sorting, and working calves in the branding pen. We also dug into the Word, with the focus for the week being on Queen Esther, along with morning devotional time learning how to study the bible, and powerful breakout sessions with the camp counselors.

There are so many people to thank that helped support this camp. First and foremost, Thank you to the Buzzard Roost Ranch, Casey (our Cowboss), and Dianna Fair, for the use of the ranch and providing everyone a place to stay. Thank you to all volunteers, instructors, counselors, worship crew, cooks, and speakers who took time out of their busy schedules to help make this camp a huge success! Without your willing hearts, none of this would’ve been possible.
